What an absolute banger of a set! Beautiful artwork, seemingly generous pull rates, and plenty of memorable cards make the Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration set one for the ages.
Meowth went off this set. One Meowth (Alolan Meowth (30th Celebration - 139/128)! Two Meowth (Galarian Meowth (30th Celebration - 141/128)! More Meowth (doubles...)! These cats found their prey and pounced with all they had. It's hard not to adore the way OKUBO has depicted Meowth's regional forms scaling a shared cityscape split across the three available illustration rares in the set. The cards show the beauty in the set beyond the heavy hitters.
Speaking of heavy hitters, we were blessed with Mew ex (30th Celebration - 152/128), Greninja ex (30th Celebration - 148/128), and Pikachu (30th Celebration - Classic Collection: 58/102), amongst other hits. We could go on about the artwork of each of these cards. Suffice to say, they hit differently in person.
We had an amazing time celebrating Pokemon's 30th anniversary with the Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration set. You can view and purchase from our 30th Celebration collection here. Here's to another 30 years!
